A Legacy of Faith

Shadrach is the youngest son of the late legend and internationally renowned preacher and singers Rev. Cleophus and Bertha Robinson, Sr. He showed an interest in music and preaching at an early age and his destiny was realized by those around him. It was very evident that his talent is a gift from God.

Shadrach graduated from Webster University in 1996. He made the Dean’s List and received a scholarship as one of the most promising freshman in his field of study. As a result of his ability and achievement, he was selected for the dual degree program in which he received his Bachelor’s and Masters Degree in Jazz studies.

Shadrach is a devoted and proud father (Christopher, Me’Shach and Ke’Oria). He sees his family as his primary ministry and feels that they enhance his ministry by being a symbol of the love between Christ and the church.

Shadrach is an ordained minister and has been preaching for forty-five years. He pastored the Friendship Baptist Church for nineteen years.
Now he is called to serve as leader/teacher of Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church.  In his unique ministry, he has taken every aspect of his life and used it to be a blessing to the body of Christ.

Shadrach has traveled extensively for many years preaching, singing and playing nationally and internationally. He made his debut recording at the age of thirteen entitled,
“Living For You.” His second release was entitled, “I Won’t Worry No More.”  The title song was also viewed in video format with national exposure.  Since then, he has composed and performed on several recordings with his late father, Rev. Cleophus Robinson, Sr., his brother, Rev. Cleophus Robinson, Jr. He has also written for other nationally acclaimed artists such as Lillian Lily, Brian Wilson, The Pilgrim Jubilee’s, Dorothy Norwood, The Mississippi Mass Choir, among countless others that have positively impacted the music industry.

As a father, minister, songwriter, singer and musician Shadrach plans to continue using the gifts that God has given him to spread the eternal message of love and hope to our dying world which is found in Jesus Christ.
